In recent years business consultant Hugh Latif has become a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail’s Leadership Lab column which appears in the Report On Business. This past summer was no exception as Hugh made two appearances in that popular column. On June 23rd his piece ‘Watch your gratuity calculation – you might be paying on the government-collected tax’ was published. And the next month on July 25th he had another called ‘How much should the CEO get paid?’ Hugh is the author of the book MAVERICK LEADERSHIP.

Jerry Amernic’s article published in the Toronto Star on August 20th was a different look at climate change. Under the title of ‘Washed-out family bike ride a climate change harbinger for all,’ the article was about bike rides with his grandson to the Rouge River beach in the east end of Toronto. The entire beach was under water this past summer, as it was two years ago.
